Arsenal Pursue Fellani With £22 Million?

A new goalkeeper, central-defender and defensive midfielder are Wenger's top priority this summer. Stories have all been flying in the media about Wenger, activating Fellani's buy out clause. Goal.com revealed that Arsenal made a whooping 26 million bid for Marouane Fellaini.
Arsenal seems to have been the first to make a formal move for the Belgian now that they have £75 million to spend this summer.

The stunning bid for Fellaini or supposedly bid is s fantastic news for Arsenal fans, and it would show that Arsene Wenger and the board are really serious about pushing the team forward and winning silverware again.

I really hope it is true, because Fellaini is an amazing and versatile player who we would love to see play for our Arsenal. But lets not get our hopes high, just because a club activates the clause, does not mean they will sign the player. He still has to agree to join, and Fellaini might want to stay where he is or he might be waiting for his old boss Moyes to get in touch. I’m not saying that it is definitely not true, just that we should not get too excited just yet.
