I believe Wenger now has the full knowledge of what it means to let your star player go every season. And he has made that it won’t be business as usual at the Emirates this summer with no high profile departure. With Walcott extending his deal in January, Sagna had to follow suit. It seems it is looking that way if recent reports are anything to go buy. Reports have it that the Frenchman is in contractual negotiations with Arsenal.

Sagna staying will build more faith this summer. Sagna didn’t have the best of play this season but he can improve on it in the new season. His experience in the Premier League and Europe cannot be ignored and he will provide good mentoring for Jenkinson. Right back is a gamble, not every new buy from outside the league can survive in the EPL playing that position.
I know he might be hungry for a two year contract, that's not too much! He is a good defender and deserves that!
I will really love to see him in an Arsenal shirt next season!!!
